Marayoor Sandals... Our State Wealth.
We lost 35000 sandal trees within last 6 years, from Marayoor Sandal reserve.
Each having 100 KG and each KG worth atleast Rs.3500.
TOTAL LOSS = Rs.1225 Crores.
We have efficient officers on 24 hours duty.
Even then, protection is not possible.
We are spending 20 lakhs rupees every month at Marayoor.
A lot of sandal trees are regenerating there. So it is difficult to protect it for all times.
Remaining 56000 Sandal trees should be cut and sold by government as fast as possible. Karnataka and Tamilnadu doing the same thing..
Then Our government will get atleast 2000 Crore rupees.
Let us give support for it.
